Volt Executor Setup Guide
Install, Key and First Script
Volt requires a paid license starting at $5.99 per week. It scores 100% on sUNC and is tracked on Rscripts with live status.
Prerequisites
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- Administrator privileges on your account
- Roblox installed (the official client, not a bootstrapper)
- A purchased Volt license key
Installation
- Download the Volt installer from the official Volt source. Rscripts links directly to the official download page and does not host mirrors.
- Before running the installer, add an exclusion in Windows Defender for the folder where Volt will be installed. Executors modify game memory and use obfuscation, so Defender flags them even when the file is legitimate.
- Open
volt.exeand follow the installation prompts. - When the installer completes, open the Volt interface. Click Create Account to register inside the app.
- Enter a username, email, password and your purchased license key. Click Create Account.
Roblox Version Sync
Volt does not support Fishstrap, Bloxstrap or other custom bootstrappers. It requires the official Roblox client. If Volt does not detect your Roblox installation, you may need to download the specific Roblox version that Volt currently targets.
Tools like the WEAO RDD Launcher can help sync your Roblox client to the version an executor supports. The process involves downloading the matching Roblox version, extracting it, and pointing Volt to that folder via Browse File, then Install Volt File.
Running Your First Script
- In the Volt welcome screen, click Install Volt File. If the option is missing, install Roblox first.
- Click Launch to open Roblox. Volt attaches automatically.
- Open the script tab in Volt, paste your Lua script into the editor.
- Select the Roblox client from the dropdown.
- Press Run.
Auto Execute
Volt supports auto-execute. Create a file named auto.lua (or .txt / .luau), paste your script into it, and double-click the file in the Volt interface to load it automatically on launch.
Troubleshooting
Volt does not inject after a Roblox update
Roblox pushes updates roughly every week. Most executors temporarily stop working when that happens. The Volt team usually releases a patch within a few hours to a couple of days. Check the status badge on Rscripts or join the Volt Discord for update notifications.
Windows Defender blocks the download
Add the Volt folder to Windows Defender exclusions. If your browser is also blocking the download, check Chrome's Safe Browsing settings — it sometimes silently blocks executor downloads.
Volt cannot find Roblox
Make sure Roblox is installed from the official source. Open the Volt welcome screen (Ctrl + Shift + P → "Help: Open Welcome Screen"), click Browse File, and point it to your Roblox installation folder. Then click Install Volt File.
Volt is currently Detected on Rscripts. It works, but Hyperion has flagged it. Ban risk is elevated. Always use an alt Roblox account, never your main.
